I'm going to point out some things, from point of view, that seems not to have been expressed, as yet. That of someone that has had nothing to do with politics, leadership (of any type), but has lived, mined, hauled, ratted and fought in Omist, for 6 months. I don't know, nor do I care, who said what, why or where. All you guys can point fingers, flame or whatever, all you like, but not one of you is accomplishing a thing. As a member of Hegemonic Core, I lived in Omist, fought there, got blown up there, went up to empire to fight and back. I'm going to tell you what it all looked like, from one of the guys in the trenches. Me. After a month long fight, with CA, they fell apart, pretty much like a house of cards. Shortly after, things started going crazy, imo, within XF. The fight with FoE, imo, triggered the 12+ empire wars, that XF had on its hands, early this year. For all the talk about how 'honorable' XF is/was, I got told by a HC director, when I asked him about the accusations of Foyle, regarding XF supposedly hiring mercenarie to fight, that XF hadn't, but someone in XF did!!  I was just a bit disgusted with having to digest that info. Nobody knew, at least, nobody in Omist, in the various corps that were there, that I talked with all the time. Honorable? Not to me. Try hypocritical. Everyone with me so far? Good. During this time, I happened to be in empire, mainly around Yulai, doing what I could, there. While there, I remembered that one of the corps we were at war with, used to have an office, in a system where I had formed a corp. While enroute there, I came across a XF pilot, in a hauler, alone. In convo, he told me he had no idea we were at war, with this particular corp!!!!! Add to this tidbit, the recurring "My hauler got ganked in <insert empire system here>, where the f*ck are you guys?" I grew more and more dumbfounded as more and more XF guys got blown up, in haulers, in the middle of 12 wars.My stock answer, to questions about the presence of hostiles, in a particular area became, "Consider all systems hostile, act accordingly" Some listened. Most didn't. To me, it seemed the the XF fleets in empire weren't trying fight, but busy getting run around, trying to pacify those that were out in haulers, when they shouldn't have been. Too few fighters, even then.
I gave up on it all and went back to Omist, before the wars ended. I'd seen and heard enough. Things settled down, for a while, it seemed or maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but in the middle of all of this, we get word that XF is attacking in GW, WC and help is needed, there, as well as all the way up north. Spread out, way too thin, in too many areas, fighting whomever, over what? I never heard. Didn't care then, don't care now. XF had wars aplenty and we get told to go off to GW, WC, etc., to fight more people. What the hell? Made no sense to me then and none now. People start resigning from whatever post they held, in XF, corps started leaving the IGA and XF claimed space. Things started to change, somewhat. Mostly, at this point, I wasn't concerned with XF, as most of HC went on hiatus, for real life, WoW or some other reason. I had to take a break, myself, for family problems and a funeral. I get back, only to find about 5-6 guys active in HC. I stick it out. Flew with Sylic, Lucas Smaise, et al, up to Tenerifis, during some war or other. Can't remember which or when. Went to Z-H2MA a few times. Always, on alliance channel, 'we need help, we're being attacked'. The number of people that would respond, gradually got less and less. I saw it, every day, during the wars. I saw it, every day, in the days preceeding CLS, DDC, et al, leaving XF. It was nearly the same people, in gang, talking about being tired, tired of fighting for people to uphold an ideal and not getting much in return for it or their efforts. It was never ending. I lost my Apoc, in QSF, shortly after leaving HC. Guess what? Not a word about their presence, in alliance or omist regional channel. Every day, there were calls for help, from every region XF controlled/claimed. Help that didn't show up. Replacement ships, for the people that lost theirs, were needed, in those regions. To my knowledge, that never happened. I never heard of it, if it did.
CLS, DDC, et al, left XF, in my view, because they all got tired of asking for XF had promised, asking for ships, fittings below cost, for pvpr's and getting gouged, in 0.0 or having to buy one, in empire, only to get ganked, enroute to XF space.
Everyone of the XF guys left in 0.0, in Omist, Tenerifis, knows exactly what I'm talking about, because you guys were taking part in the gangs, gang chats, regional chats, complaining about these very things. XF screwed us and you know it. Seems a lot of you have forgotten. Have some coffee and wake up. Think about it.
